.PS is the so-called country code Top-Level-Domain (ccTLD) of the Palestinian National Authority.

The Palestinian territories are located in South-West Asia between the Mediterranean sea and the Jordan River. They include the Gaza-Strip and 40 % of Israel-occupied West Bank. However, the Palestinian national authority claim the entire West Bank. Since the Palestinian Declaration of Independence in 1988, the region is today recognized by three-quarters of the world's countries to be part of the State of Palestine, although this status is not recognized by the United Nations, Israel, the United States and other Western nations.
