Size / Capacity Limits

You can set a quota (maximum available disk space / memory limit) for individual mailboxes.

This gives you a better overview of how much memory is used in which mailbox.

Furthermore, you can prevent the mail volume of a single mailbox from blocking the inbox of the entire mailspace.

Here you can specify the maximum allowed memory limit for the mailbox in MB or disable it entirely with a click.

In the case of occupancy notifications (mailspace details), you can set a warning by e-mail when a certain load is reached.

Spam and Virus Filters

Protect your e-mail address from unwanted e-mails and dangerous viruses and other malicious programs - with the dd24 e-mail filter.

You decide how you want to filter your e-mails. You can individually select one of 4 filter options per mailbox:

Off:

No spam and virus filter enabled.

Low:

  • Content filter enabled, spam e-mails are marked and moved to the "Junk" folder.
  • Viruses are deleted directly.

Medium:

  • Weighted pre-filter and content filter enabled.
  • The pre-filter rejects obviously unwanted spam e-mails directly, the content filter moves remaining spam e-mails to "Junk".
  • Viruses will be deleted directly.

High:

  • Weighted pre-filter and content filter enabled.
  • The pre-filter rejects obviously unwanted spam e-mails directly, the content filter deletes remaining spam directly.
  • Viruses will be deleted directly.

Changes of the filter options are immediately enabled after the successful confirmation.

Out-of-office Message

You can enable a so-called auto-responder (automatic reply e-mail) if you are absent - for example if you are on vacation and have no access to your e-mails. Please activate the auto-responder ("On") and enter a subject and a text for your out-of-office message. After saving the changes the auto-responder is activated immediately. Upon your return, you can switch the function to "Off" again.

Please note: Even if a sender sends several e-mails to you he will receive the out-of-office message only once per day.
