General information.AT is the official country code Top-Level-Domain (ccTLD) of Austria.

RequirementsPlease take note that new policies will apply from April 15th 2015 in reference to an EU-Customerpolicy.
It regulates, among other consumer-information requirements for Electronic Contracts.
In Austria it is regulated in Konsumentenschutzgesetz (KSchG) and Fern-
and Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz (FAGG), in other EU-Countries in their national law.
This right applies to all individuals who are holders of an .AT domain, regardless
their country of origin.
Because according to austrian law by registering an .AT Domain a contract comes between Domain-Holder and NIC.at.

The customer needs to be fully informed about the product, the price, conditions, suppliers etc.
before, during and after the order as well as there need to be information about his right to withdraw.
